Join the Mattatuck Museum for a fun Member Perk visit to the Unionville Museum. This community gem houses a collection of over 10,000 photographs and historical items and uses them to bring Unionville’s past and present to life through engaging exhibits and programs.
During our visit, we’ll explore rotating exhibits on Unionville’s history and redevelopment, learn about the museum’s oral history project, and hear about their new “History to Go Roadshow,” which takes local history out into the community. We’ll also spend time with a powerful and locally meaningful exhibit, Flood of 1955: First Person Accounts & Photographs, featuring firsthand stories and images from a pivotal moment in regional history.
Come along for an easygoing afternoon of local history, conversation, and discovering one of our neighboring community museums. We’d love to explore it with you!
