DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the bold colors and repeated imagery of Andy Warhol, this art workshop invites teens to explore what pop culture icons have defined America. Using pop-art techniques, students will transform everyday American symbols, such as snacks, sneakers, technology, and music into vibrant contemporary artworks. The class encourages creativity, self-expression, and conversation about identity and the evolving image of America through the eyes of today’s youth. \n  \n This class is specifically designed for children ages 12-17, to enhance their artistic interests and talents. We kindly ask parents and siblings to wait outside of the classroom for the duration of the program.  \n  \n  \n Support provided by American Savings Foundation and Post University. \n
